WE HAVE BOOKED A LONG CRUISE, CAN WE START OUR CRUISE IN THE LATE AFTERNOON? Of course, depending on your arrival time and our availability, we will do our best to tailor the cruise as you wish.

HOW MANY MILES WE CAN COVER FOR A DAY?
The average distances between the islands of the Ionian are 12-20 miles. Every day we normally stop in two bays for swimming and once for lunch or walk. However, on tailor-made cruises the maximum mileage travelled is 135 miles per day.

WHAT DOES LIGHT ALL-INCLUSIVE MEAN?
Our daily cruises are a special experience of Ionian archipelagos, so after departure we will offer you typical appetizers made in a traditional way, made of local products like pies, bread, cheese, olives and vegetables. In the afternoon you should try some local sweets or fresh fruits. All day we are offering you a variety of local non-alcoholic refreshments like water, juices, coffee and tea. Also, if needed our beach towels are at your disposal.

CAN I SLEEP ON THE DECK?

The night above the Astypalea Sea is one to remember. You can sleep on the deck, but you will need to bring with you some type of a mat and a sleeping bag because the mattresses of the yacht as well as the bed linen cannot be used on deck. In case that you made a full booked , you can sleep in the cabins.

WILL I HAVE WIFI NETWORK COVERAGE DURING THE CRUISE?

There is very good network coverage on the islands and as the distances between them are small, there is good network coverage out at sea as well. It is only in a couple of bays and villages that are surrounded by high mountains, where you may not have any reception at all.

CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS/BABY ON CRUISE?

On 'whole yacht' charters the age of the passenger is not an issue, as it is just you and your company onboard. But please keep in mind, if children are on board during the cruise, you shall be fully responsible for their behavior, safety and entertainment during the trip, while Private Yachting will provide you with all safety equipment and inform you about the safety procedures on board the yacht.

AN WE SAIL IN THE NIGHT?

No. We normally leave the harbor around 11:30 a.m. and after a few hours of sailing and a few hours anchored in a bays, we return (or go to the next island, if it is a long cruise) around 19:00 p.m. at the port of Astypalea.

WILL I GET SEASICK?

Very rarely people get seasick onboard as we usually suggest the cruise in the areas where the winds are not too strong and the waves never too big. If you are worried about seasickness, you should bring with you pills like 'Stugeron' or a travel wrist band, which you can buy in pharmacies and airports. If you realize you are getting seasick while we are cruising and you don't have any pills with you, don't worry as we normally have some onboard.

I AM A DIVER, CAN I BRING MY DIVING GEAR?

There is snorkeling gear onboard, but you are welcome to bring your own mask and fins or any other equipment you have.
